We are a non-profit organisation with a mission to provide a safe haven where children and youth can come together to explore their creativity and develop an appreciation of the arts, heritage and diverse cultures of our communities.


Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun provides creative classes to children aged 7 to 17 years old regardless of income, gender, religion, language or ability through our Alam Kreatif Programme designed to enhance children’s cognitive skills as well as develop their potentials and inherent talents.

Sponsored classes and workshops are made available for underprivileged children, those fleeing prosecution as well as children with special needs.

In 1989, during the Children’s Day Celebration in Stadium Negara, our patron Yang Maha Mulia Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Bainun reiterated the need to have a children creative centre as mentioned in Article 13 of the Convention of the Rights of the Child in 1989.

This non-profit center was established in response to DYMM Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Bainun’s vision of a playground for self discovery, where learning is fun and children can explore and develop their creativity. This is a platform to nurture moral and ethical values where a caring nature is way of life.

Our arts education programme at Pusat Kreatif is called 'Alam Kreatif.' This creative world was designed to mobilize creative thinking and innovation in young people through the use of arts, play and imagination as a creative tool, as well as a medium of expression.

We offer two types of programmes - Special Programmes and Paid and Sponsored Programmes. Special Programmes allow the child learn and experience multiple skills and art in a single programme. It includes music and theatre, visual arts and movements, and living skills. The Paid and Sponsored Programmes are focused on a specific art or skill. This programme can be paid or free (sponsored by us and our partners).

We encourage children from all walks of life (regardless of income, gender, religion, language or ability) to participate in our creative programmes. Special efforts will be made to accommodate children with special needs, underprivileged children or children deprived of proper access to basic education. Most importantly, children will have an appropriate platform to express their talents and interests.

Our core activity of Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun is to provide free creative arts classes to underprivileged children through our Alam Kreatif programme. Our aim is to create opportunities for children to have access to creative learning. It is with your generosity that we are able to build a sustainable foundation to continue to provide these opportunities to children in our community.
