Meditation classes are conducted in every Brahma Kumaris centre throughout Malaysia. The basic course has 7 lessons, conducted for an hour each day and generally starts every Monday at 7.30pm. You can walk in for the classes or make an appointment before attending the classes.

If you are unable to attend face to face classes due to the location of the centres, you may also attend FREE online sessions.

Grandmaster JinBodhi was born in 1964 to a poor family and suffered ill-health from a young age. Through practicing meditation, which he began to do in childhood, he achieved a healthy body and mind and also gained the ability to help people set themselves free from suffering. In order to help bring health and happiness to all tormented by illness, pain and affliction, Grandmaster JinBodhi founded Bodhi Meditation on August 3, 1991. Since then, he has been spreading the teachings of Bodhi Meditation around the world, helping countless people enjoy healthy lives.

Grandmaster JinBodhi advocates the creation of a healthy and happy lifestyle through practicing meditation and compassion. So far, Bodhi Meditation has spread to more than 50 countries and regions around the world, benefiting tens of millions of people.

I started experiencing chronic soreness, pain and stiffness in my shoulders, back, arms, and neck in 2012. Three years later, I was diagnosed with tennis elbow. It was so painful that I could not lift my arms. After practicing meditation for about four months, the stiffness and pain had been greatly reduced. In less than a year, my elbows were completely recovered, and my back and shoulders were no longer stiff.

For three years, I suffered from severe insomnia. When I did manage to fall asleep, I would be jolted awake by nightmares. During the day, my mind was so foggy I couldn’t work. On the first night of the 8.5-Day Health & Happiness Retreat, I had a restful dreamless sleep till morning. Since then, I’ve attended every retreat available. Now I could fall asleep quickly and sleep through the night.

I have hereditary diabetes. My blood-lipid test result showed a drop from 9-11mmol/L to 7-8mmol/L during the 8.5-Day Health & Happiness Retreat. Since then, under my doctor’s supervision, I’ve reduced my medication and insulin by more than half. After the retreat, I continued to practice The Meditation of Greater Illumination. Just over a month later, my previously elevated lipid, sugar and pressure levels were normal.

My relationship with my parents used to be tense. We hardly talked and when we did, we ended up arguing. I would slam tables, curse, and even get physically violent with them. However, through practicing meditation, I suddenly matured and began to feel remorse for my past actions. I developed gratitude toward my parents. Now I understand them better and treat them with care and compassion.

I cared for the sick while working as a nurse, but I suffered from my own poor health. I experienced great health benefits from attending the 8.5-Day Health & Happiness Retreat. I recovered from hereditary tinnitus. My lower-back pain is gone. My sleep quality has improved, and I no longer suffer from sinus allergies. My heartbeat has also gradually normalized. At the same time, my state of mind has improved.
